The Arizona state House passes bill repealing the 1864 abortion ban

For three weeks, Democratic representatives for the Arizona state House attempted to have the ban repealed, then finally on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 the house voted to repeal a near-total abortion ban from 1864, with three Republican lawmakers breaking from their party to join Democrats to strike it down.
