Another Flag Linked to January 6th Attack on the Capitol Flown at a 2nd Alito Residence

The Pine Tree flag seen being carried by Trump supports during the attack on the United States Capitol on January 6th was reported to have been flown at a 2nd residence owned by Justice Alito and his wife.

Originally the pine tree flag became a symbol of American resistance after the Pine Tree Riot between American colonists and British rule that led to the American Revolution. The pine tree retained this meaning of resistance, and has appeared on some state flags and seals ever since. The pine tree or "Appeal to Heaven" flag is now being used as a symbol of extremist Christian-minded views that want to remake American society.
